From the moment we hired Lifetime of Love Doula Services our minds were put at ease. I had struggled with perinatal anxiety & depression from day 1 of my pregnancy and had so much fear around birthing our baby.
We did the HypnoBirthing series which made all the difference in the world. I remember how anxious I was day 1 of the class, I was tearing up just at the thought of the birth. With the guidance & education from SJ & Carol Anne, my husband and I, gained confidence and believability every class we did.
I had a lot of unexpected things come up in my pregnancy which made my anxiety really bad but Carol Anne and SJ were always available for a chat or a meditation over the phone. Knowing I could reach out to them and get support from someone who has their knowledge & experience was such a comfort.
My husband and I couldn’t imagine the birth of our beautiful son without the assistance, guidance and knowledge of Carol Anne. She instructed my husband with squeezes and counter pressures to help with my back labour, gave amazing encouragement (to us both!) & helped keep me calm…having her there was an absolute game changer.
We invested in postpartum hours which I am convinced created the success we had with breastfeeding, bathing & life with a newborn.
I cannot imagine this experience without them and I am so humbled & deeply grateful for the ability to have worked with them. I cannot recommend their services & classes enough.
